AXIS MGA specializes in the distribution of various insurance products through Managing General Agencies (MGAs) in the United States. We have a highly experienced staff that is available to assist producers in the evaluation and implementation of select program business opportunities.

Our emphasis is on property-intensive accounts, although we will provide some of the supporting casualty insurance coverages as well. We offer an array of commercial and personal lines products, providing predominantly primary coverage on an admitted and non-admitted basis. AXIS Custom Accounts will also consider catastrophe-exposed property business (wind, flood and earthquake), as we have a specialized catastrophic management team and information systems that allow us to closely track and manage our concentration of risk.

Our greatest interest is in MGA program opportunities that focus on specific niche market segments versus broad multiple class portfolios. This niche focus enables us to develop specialty expertise and capabilities that provide our agency partners with exceptional products and services that they can leverage in the marketplace to grow their business and increase their franchise power.

A unit of the Select Markets Division of AXIS Insurance, AXIS Custom Accounts has headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, and an underwriting office in Chicago. The Custom Accounts unit sells its products exclusively through AXIS-appointed MGAs.
