Richard Fricker joined AXIS in April 2002. He graduated with a 2:1 Ba (Hons) degree in Modern History in 1984. Richard joined Sedgwick Offshore Resources in 1985 to work on North Sea Operating and Construction Retail Business. In 1989, Richard joined Hayer Brockbank Ltd as Assistant Energy Underwriter for Syndicate 861/588, and in 1993 became Deputy Energy Underwriter with primary responsibility for the offshore account. Leaving Brockbank Syndicate Management in 1999, he joined the Spinney Syndicate 1308, moving onto become the Offshore Energy Class Underwriter at Ace Global Markets in 2000.

Luan Sarll joined AXIS in April 2002. She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 1997 with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Operational Research with Applied Statistics. Luan previously worked for Brockbank Syndicate Management as an Underwritering Assistant on the Energy side. She left Brockbank in September 1999 to join the Spinney Syndicate. In March 2000, she joined Ace Global Markets to work as an Underwriting Assistant on the Offshore Energy account.

Daniel Walsh joined AXIS in April 2002 as an Underwriter, located in our Dublin office. Through our Dublin office we write many of our specialty classes of business including Property, Onshore and Offshore Energy, Marine, Aviation, Political Risk including Terrorism, and Professional Lines classes of business. Daniel is CII qualified and has over 13 years experience in the insurance market. He began his career with the Generali in 1994, and then moved to ACE in 1999 where he worked until coming to AXIS.
