Tim Covello
President, AXIS PRO

Tim Covello was hired by AXIS Insurance in December 2003 to build a diversified E&O practice. Prior to forming AXIS PRO, he had been with Chubb Specialty Insurance (formerly Executive Risk). Tim joined Executive Risk in 1995 to establish the firm's Lawyer's Professional Liability Insurance operation, which grew to become a leading LPL underwriting facility in the United States. He later was named head of Chubb Specialty’s Professional Services Group. Before entering the insurance industry, he practiced law for seven years at the Hartford firm of Shipman & Goodwin where he was a member of the Real Estate and Corporate departments. Tim earned a J.D. with high honors from Duke University School of Law and bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Harvard College.

Adam Sharaf
Executive Vice President, AXIS Professional Firms

Adam helped form AXIS PRO in December 2003, and was promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President of AXIS PRO in January 2005. He was named Executive Vice President of the AXIS Professional Firms unit in 2010. Adam came to AXIS Insurance following over nine years at Chubb Specialty Insurance (formerly Executive Risk). He played a major role in the successful growth of Executive Risk’s Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance operation. He also was instrumental in the development of Executive Risk’s U.K. Solicitors’ Program as its lead underwriter, and he was Managing Director of UAP Executive Partners in Paris. Prior to joining AXIS, Adam was the NY Brokerage Zone Manager for Chubb Professional. He holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from Bates College.

Bill Healey
Vice President

Bill Healey joined AXIS PRO as Assistant Vice President in January 2006. He underwrites Lawyers' Professional Liability and Accountants' Professional Liability business in Hartford, CT. Prior to coming to AXIS, Bill worked at Chubb in Simsbury, CT, where he served as a Claims Examiner and Lawyers' Professional Liability Product Manager. He also previously practiced law for 15 years with the Hartford law firm of Gould, Killian & Wynne. Bill is an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Vicki Woolman
Assistant Vice President

Vicki Woolman has been with AXIS PRO since January of 2007. Based in Los Angeles, she is responsible for Lawyers’ Professional Liability and Accountants’ Professional Liability business in the western region of the United States. Vicki previously worked three and half years at Chubb Specialty Insurance as a Lawyers’ Professional Liability Insurance Specialist and Senior Underwriting Officer. In this role, she had responsibility for underwriting and relationship development, and she served as a product resource for Chubb in all of the western states. Prior to joining Chubb, Vicki worked on the brokerage side and as a Client Intake Manager at a Los Angeles law firm. In the 1990s, she was a Vice President at Aon Specialty Insurance in Southern California handling Lawyers’ Professional Liability Insurance.
